  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my apprenticeship as i like how two days will never be the same, each day there's something different to do meaning that you are always on your toes and excited for the next task. As i am working on a joint venture i like how all of the team are from different company's and each bring different ideas.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I believe the programme is structured very well, I am always offered support on my site and am encouraged a lot to undertake different training courses. I also sometimes get given time to complete my college work on site if it is not too busy which is very beneficial. Whilst on site placements there is also multiple meetings organised from college tutors to make sure we understand the work completely which is very helpful.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe what I am learning at college has a direct link to what I do in my day to day role especially units like surveying, this unit gave me a brief understanding of how to use some engineering equipment where I then developed my skills further on site. By completing a qualification as well as working I feel it gives me more confidence when I am at work as I have a better understanding of engineering.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are always different activities to get involved in such as sports activities as well as different voluntary activities. On my joint venture every Tuesday they hold a different venue for all apprentices, graduates and newcomers for a starting blocks community event to encourage all new workers to get to know each other.
