I was working within Brand Management in Purina for my first six months and absolutely loved it, I was given so many opportunities and responsibilties and was able to lead my own projects, one being a sampling campaign!
I have been given the opportunitiy to develop my presentation skills and confidently present infront of large audiences
I really enjoy the programme, the culture at Nestle is so lovely and everyone is willing to help you get started in each of your new roles. I think it is so great that you get the opportunity to work in different functions, I have already learnt so much.
I believe it is really well structured, there are really useful induction and training sessions put on and the support offered is amazing.
Having just started my new role/ placement, I had daily 121s with my manager to check my understanding and ensure I was getting on okay for the first 1-2 weeks. All my new team are keen to offer support and training is any areas too which is really comforting.
Lots of support, we use an online platform to communicate and hand in assignments, but if there is any problems they are always there to support.
The university curriculm matches really well with the roles at Nestle, and I feel I am able to put my learning into action and understand why things work the way they do.
Within Purina, there is the sports and social where you get the opportunity to attend and organise sporting events with others in the team who are signed up! It is a really nice way to meet new people within the company.
Yes
I think it is a great company! I love the culture and everyone is passoionate about their jobs, not to mention the support given to apprentices and staff is amazing.
The main tip I would give is be yourself and show what you could bring to the company!
