Working on the regulatory requirements from regulators and auditors with regards to remuneration in the entities that UBS operates under through producing reports and conducting reviews.
Developed stronger excel skills in order to produce reporting as well as being able to simplify processes in order to make them more efficient.
The programme has been positive. The studying aspect has a clear schedule which allows you to organise work around your studying. Your manager and teams are aware of your studying requirements and are incredibly supportive of this.
The programme is fairly structured but at the same time, there is flexibility for you to change certain aspects to make it more relevant for your needs.
There is a lot of support from my employer. My manager and team are super supportive throughout the programme, especially when I have asked for more time or to sense check certain parts of my submission.
I have had a positive experience with the training provider. I felt comfortable in my 1:1s to ask any questions that I was unsure about. They were also incredibly responsive in emails outside of our catch-ups especially leading up to the final exams.
I think the qualification provides a good foundation of knowledge in the wider business area. However, depending on your specific role and whether it is a general or a specialist role, it may not be as applicable.
There are many extra-curricular activities at my work. There are clubs such as choir, knitting, baking, volleyball etc. We also have networks supporting employees.
Yes
I would highly recommend UBS to a friend. There is a strong culture of teamwork and collaboration at the bank and genuine care in your wellbeing. You will build a strong network at UBS and I would highly recommend working at UBS.
One of my best advice would be to research UBS and be able to demonstrate why you have chosen UBS vs. other similar banks and what is it about UBS that stands out and why you are a good fit for UBS.
