I'm a kitchen manager. I ensure the kitchen is safe and fully compliant and legal. Fully following all company processes. Ensuring the kitchen adheres to the 10 minute food delivery times and stock is well managed
I have learnt many skills. How to manage time. Writing academic work as it had been a long time since I had done this kind of writing style previously. Thinking about the company in a more strategic way. Juggling life study and work has been challenging
I enjoy learning lots of new skills. Thinking about the company in a different way. I enjoy meeting new people from different parts of the company. I enjoy learning about parts of the business that you wouldn't normally hear about
The structure of the course is fully laid out in advance. Whilst we are a trial group as the modules haven't been run before, they are flexible to the needs of the group
Employers are on hand to answer any questions I have and support in areas that I need. I get my study days as I need which allows me to get my work done. Without this I'm not sure I'd be able to get the work done
We have been having weekly contact points on top of the training that was delivered. I got feedback within 10 days of requesting it. I have got a personal number for my tutor on my new module
I think it helps Alot as you learn many valuable skills and think about the business in a different way
A few of us have a snooker group that meets weekly
