  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Whitbread has an amazing progression program. Willing to work hard is the main behaviour needed. You Can learn everything else on the job. In my position I have developed leadership and communication skill which I was lacking before. The role have me an opportunity to gain experience and excel in something I didn’t know I could before.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • L3 apprenticeship is a great program to have an overview on your role and your achievements. It’s looking into theory and linking it to day to day business. It give you a great opportunity to apply the theory to you work, see what you are doing right & wrong and then focus on how to improve.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Programme is well structured and I like that you receive a yearly plan in advance. You are able to know what topics you will be discussing every month. All the content is available online and you are able to ho through at your own pace. I wish there were better instructions at the very end of the assessment. Making sure the learner knows what kind of a test needs to be completed and what weight each part has. In that way you are clear on what a pass & a distinction grade is.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • In my experience I haven’t received the support I needed in order to complete my L3 apprenticeship. For that reason my program became stressful and took longer then it should of. I must say I have received some great support from different supervisors and it was just the one that did not help out as much as predicted.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My supervisor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has been amazing! We have been working together for over a year and she always supported me with her knowledge and flexibility. She was always available and willing to help at any time not just on a scheduled meeting once a month. I swapped from L2 to L3 programme due to the promotion and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] made the change very smooth, without any issues and I was able to transfer some of the work to the new level.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Having the internal qualification helps with the progression within the business. It is a great program for the employees as it gives everyone the opportunity to learn on the job and receive a certificate at the end. Knowledge received on the program gives you a good understanding of your role and you are able to apply new things to day to day work.
