Accounting ethics, Communication, Excel skills and functions, Vat returns and bookkeeping on accounting softwares like Freeagent.
It’s a huge learning curve entering the finance industry with no prior work experience and being able to learn along with others is really enjoyable
The programme is very structured in terms of time allocation for my AAT studies including dates for lessons and exams.
I receive a lot of support from my employer since there’s a lot of people who are completing or have already completed the same qualification as me so it’s nice to know you’re not alone.
I receive a lot of support being that there are lessons weekly and we are given plenty of time to study before an exam. The teachers are also very willing to do extra sessions to help you learn which is also wonderful.
I feel that they do their best and take pride into helping us. The teachers they provide along with the study material are all top tier being that it the knowledge we learn from our qualification takes effect onto our ability to do our job.
We have Christmas parties every year.
Yes
They provide a nice and safe environment to work in. They tend to employ young workers so if you’re also young, you’ll have plenty of people to relate to in the office. The workplace is very structured and help is everywhere.
Be yourself and make sure you read the job role prior to interviews. Even if you are incompetent in some departments, be open about being willing to learn new things to diversify your skills.
