Completing an NVQ Level 4 and BEng in Mechanical Engineering whilst carrying out engineering placements around the business
I have gained a HNC, HND and Level 2 practical qualification. I've been on Catia V5 training courses. Improved Microsoft Office skills. Gained public speaking and presenting skills.
Already passionate about Aerospace so get to work in an industry that interests me. Opportunities to work to raise money for charity. Opportunities to travel. Opportunities to gain new skills. The scheme has met and bettered expectations
Some minor teething issues to start with but these have now been mainly ironed out. Education route is well defined. Work placements are planned in advance, and a good selection of placements available

Yeovil College have supported me throughout my academic career and helped me achieve the grades i have.
As i have gained qualifications i have felt more confident in choosing placements that require a higher background knowledge of engineering. Furthermore, i feel i am more useful to the skilled engineers around me and genuinely contributing to tasks
