We get different projects to do that involve various different things including programming
I hadn't done A level Computing before so I developed my programming skills and learnt more about the business side of things
I really like the balance of work and university and I find it very rewarding
We have two days of university and three days of work per week so its quite structured and organised
We get a lot of support from our managers/ team members and they're always willing to help if we need
We get some support if we ask for but it depends on the lecturer we get and the size of the class
We learn few of the basics of computing in our course that we can use when doing projects at work but I tend to learn more from work than university
We can join any of the societies at university as well as at work- there are a wide range of them however university societies can sometimes clash with work days so it depends on if it works with your schedule
Yes
I really like the atmosphere and how supported we are as well as the different types of work that we get given helps us to learn more.
Make sure to ask lots of questions
