Study the CII, learn about the different platforms for broking such as the broking platform, eclipse for slips, service hub for endorsements. Communicating with retailers on accounts I have been placed on with the main broker.
yes, communication skills meeting new colleagues, underwriters and retailers. Skills when it comes to all the platforms that need to be used when communicating and broking to underwriters.
I enjoy the programme due to enjoying my job, learning about property insurance interests me. However, I feel the appretiship classes could be a lot more informative and interactive to ensure all students fully understand what is being taught to them.
The growth company are organised with their extra work given, they keep you up to date with deadlines with work outside of the exams, have regular calls to ensure you are not struggling. However, the structure for the CII ie Lm1 classes are not structured the best.
my line manager is always willing to help with any questions or topics I am confused with, that includes my colleagues too.
My training provider I feel I do not communicate with enough, regular calls should be set up to keep up to date with how people are feeling about the course, their exams and work in general.
