3 days a week I am in the work place doing an 8 hour work day in a team, currently electrical engineering, where I learn from engineers and complete independent work for the team. The other two days are study days with lectures in the morning followed by self study in the afternoon.
I have learnt lots of new skills, from operating acoustic test materials in an anechoic chamber completing full flow sweeps for self noise and full product noise tests, to simulating mechanical systems in matlab. I have also developed skills such as CAD through dedicated training and practice for live projects.
