    8/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • A little bit, I have to say the grind of uni and workplace is quite intense and sometimes doesn't feel like the most ideal option. I also think it lacks a lot of social diversity (ie talking to non engineers)

    4/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Its getting better but in previous years its been a bit more chaotic. Now its fairly organised i'd say

    7/10

    8/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Other than the standard lectures not that much. But dyson supply enough to make up for it

    5/10

    7/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yeah a fair amount, but not even close to what a standard uni would have on offer. This is mostly due to the small number of students here

    4/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • Fairly isolated campus makes for limited socialisation. As nice as it is earning money and not having a student loan it feels like we miss out a lot on what you get at uni

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology?
  • As long as you're sure this is the right course for you then go for it. But don't be swayed by the money and lack of student loan - theres more to life than just that
