I really enjoy my programme, it compliments my work well and I learn new things daily. It's given me and avenue to really stretch myself academically and practically.
I'm very fortunate to receive the full backing of my Line Manager and wider team, they afford me the opportunity to take time out to complete my apprenticeship work, research and modules. The programme itself is will structured and expectations are made clear from the outset.
A lot of support, I am encouraged to take my 20% time every week off the job to complete my work. My employer supports me if I come across any difficulties and also encourages me by opening up doors and opportunities.
My tutor is great but not always available and communication can be lacking sometimes. General attitude would be your very much left to get on with it yourself which personally I prefer but they are there should you need them. You get some good quality feedback on your assessments which allows you to improve for next time.
Really well - it allows me to put what I've learnt into practise and taken a different view when completing projects or tasks. I feel much more informed day to day and feel the my knowledge on the wider industry has grown since starting my qualification.
There are lots of internal employee networks that champion diversity which are great to get involved in. The company does alot for charity also with events such as - cook alongs in your lunch break etc
