On a day to day basis my job role is to provide assistance to my wonderful customers , whether it be helping on the tills, replenishing stock , packing a instore delivery , or help with being the store representative and getting the team on board with some incentives ..I generally help with all round job roles within the store
During my experience I have developed a whole new set of skills which I can demonstrate at work and home. I’m now able to control more activities on the tills . I also have gained my English and math which Ables me to help my children with homework. I also have a new confidence in wanting to try and learn new things
I really really enjoyed working on the apprenticeship. It gave me something to work towards within my workplace that fits with me and my lifestyle not to mention how awesome my trainer is :) I had an absolute blast whilst learning and gained new insights on certain areas of the training given
I feel that the programme well structured to my learning style, and when I found things to be a little difficult my trainer would explain it to my so that I could retain the information given. I have a very busy lifestyle and have had to cancel sessions but it was good that I could rebook at a time that suited me
My employer has been absolutely amazing really supportive of my progression within the work place. My manger has given me a whole new boost of confidence within my job role that i encourage my other staff members to try and take on board all the new things I’ve learnt
Throughout my course I’ve often struggled with a busy schedule and to to cancel my sessions at short notice , and I feel that my trainer has been amazing at supporting me with all my needs. Whether it be a work or home issue my trainer always gave me the time and consideration I needed to achieve my goals
Having learnt all this new information that I had received through my qualifications, I was ready and geared to share it all with my colleagues and customers , and I feel that my trainer provided my with that boost of knowledge which helped my to perform better in my job role
Since working for Iceland I have became the talking shop rep. This role enables me to network with other reps in my area and we have fun and discuss all up and coming topics related to our work. I find these meeting very enjoyable and it gives you an insight as to what’s required of you and your role
Yes
I would most definitely recommend my company to my friends and family. I feel that what they offer to you as a person and to help someone develop a career is inspiring. I feel that the products and services we provide are a good sense of value and we maintain our customer retention all year round.
I feel that the best way to gain experience and advise would be to assist people in there roles , and take in the knowledge and the learning styles they show you and find out what’s best for you. I feel that repeating processes helps to maintain the knowledge you’ve learnt.
