Operational management within an engineering company; ensuring we are delivering excellent customer services within our SLA and exceeding expectation to achieve KPI's
Understanding leadership styles, and how they can be applied in different situations. Also improve my organisation skills.
I enjoyed it, it was quite unfortunate that my previous training provider (Jigsaw) went bust, so I had to start again. And during this time, I had progressed to a senior management role therefore I felt the skills I was learning were within my remit already.
I had 3 different tutors during my time at LMP which was quite frustrating, as I was building on a relationship with the tutor then they would leave. The tutors were organised and I had a clear defined plan for my apprenticeship so overall it was a positive experience.
Little to none, I had no capacity to study during the week so would often spend my evenings or weekends studying which resulted in a lack of focus. No input throughout the entire duration and was encouraged to cancel final exams due to other work commitments.
Overall a lot of support, as mentioned above I had a number of different tutors which didn't help
For the reasons above, I had progressed to a senior management role therefore I felt the skills I was learning were within my remit already.
Little to none
