We control a patch, looking after the engineers and making sure that all of the work goes out whilst dealing with other factors, ultimately we want our end customers to get their services and keep all of our engineers safe and happy.
I have learnt a lot of new skills when coming into this role as I was fresh from sixth form so it has taught me how to use the systems and taught me good tips for customer service.
It was alright, however there has been many parts of the apprenticeship that have been unorganised and a bit all overt the place causing some stress and uncertainty for us, not just for me but my colleagues too.
Not very well, it has changed a lot as we have gone on and at times it's as if no one has really knwon what is going on, causing stress for the apprentices as we didn't know what was going on.
Not much, we are just left to do what we have to do, but if we required support or help I am sure that it would be provided.
We do get support and feedback when it comes to the course, we just are not sure at all about the end point assessment as the role doesn't meet it's criteria, causing a lot of uncertainty for us.
We have no qualification as of yet, there is a bit of confusion round our EPA's.
Not that I have come across
Yes
It is a big company with many opportunities, the confusion and lack of structure of the apprenticeship can be fixed which means I would recommend a friend for the future if the company learned from their mistakes
Make sure it is definitely what you want to do, and make them clearly outline the contract at the start and make sure there is no hidden aspects that will creep up later.
