analysing fault rates on cable lengths to make sure customers are kept in service, creating job packs for engineers to go out and complete any repairs required. also plans work for multiple workstreams, FVR, ACR, DIG.
I have learn IT skills on a number of systems, I have also learn more on commutation within teams and presenting. I have learned about my job role and how the copper network works
I enjoy that I have the opportunity to learn multiple skills and have access to additional learning. I enjoy working with my team and engineers and being part of BT
my apprenticeship is well structured, learning is not rushed and I get to work closely with people who have been here for 20 plus years. its all done at a good place and the options to learn more and more is great.
I receive a good amount of support, wither that be work related or home life.
support has been good and bad, things could of been explained better from the beginning. mistakes made with learning structure and a lot of time wasted. minimal commutation when needing help.
the qualification doesn't match up to my job role completely, its more customer focus when I don't deal with customers directly. but it does give a good understanding on the business and customer focus side which can only be useful in the future.
there's sports facilities but not many social events since covid. network events are mainly teams based so not entirely interactive.
