I am a Fibre Jointer for Openreach. We fit equipment within the telephone exchange and then create a connection between there and the customer premise usually through an external terminating splitter. Once the circuit has been fitted we test and commission it.
working at heights, underground working, road works safety and internal working areas.
Some of the workshops became tedious but overall informative.
