I was working as an audit associate for PwC performing client work on banking engagements, this would involve performing activities such as requesting and testing of clients deliverables and interacting with my team to support their audit of the client
Working with a lot of passionate and talented people that were supportive and encouraging to me helped me a lot to improve my approach and outlook in order to maximise my personal skills
I thought that I was always well supported and I got given a good amount of responsibility so I was always happy working here. Sometimes it can be stressful but I was always well supported and my workload was managed well by my team. The placement exceeded my expectations and i thoroughly enjoyed my time with PwC
I think it is well structured. We are put onto the engagements around the busy season so that we are always provided with work to do and can support the most. Ideally we would have more time after the placement to focus on exam preparations but overall it was good.
I got amazing support from the employer while on my placement. I was assigned a career coach who was really good in supporting me through my time and always reaching out to me if I needed anything. My peers were also very supportive and a pleasure to work with, which displays the good influence that the company has on promoting good behaviours to benefit everyone
I get good support regarding this, I always have people to reach out to and there is a good attitude to support
I feel that this is a strong aspect of the training provider. I am always being coached even when they have busy workloads and there is a strong focus on my career development which was really important to me
Yes, my teams often set up events and groups after work that I was available to join such as meet ups and exercise clubs which was thoughtful and boosted the morale of those working in the teams i believe
Yes
Amazing opportunity, very grateful to be on the programme as they care a lot about their new employees and talent, investing into more universities providing this degree programme and providing amazing working conditions and support throughout my time here.
I think they should be aware that the nature of the job means that in busy season there will be high expectations in terms of workload but it was all managed really well for me and I believe everyone at PwC supported me to an amazing standard and always looked out for me, I was provided with tons of support and guidance when I joined and they allow you time to get trained and developed along your journey which is amazing
