mostly when doing our training we are climbing and learning new things all the time. we have not been on site so have not been able to apply the work
we have learnt alot that is psecific to our job plus also things like firstaid, however there are some qualifications like self confidence and presentation skills that are not very relevant
i love my job, but i think that 9 months worth of training in one go (when at the start at the apprentiship we were told we would be here for 6 months) everyone has pretty much lived with each other and we need some time apart, and it would be nice to feel like we are part of our on site teams.
our trainer kirk, shaun and liam are fantasatic and are always there when/if you need help. although i think that some of the planning for the apprentiships could be sorted a bit furthur in advance as there has been alot of confusion on when everyone is here.
our trainers again are very organised however our apprentiship leader isnt as organised
alot from our on the job work but not a huge amount from our City and Guilds
trainers give us a alot of support, however i think that City and Guilds could provide a bit more
very well and it is good encoragement
there are opportunities to do volentary work
Yes
it seems like a good company that have a lot of opportunities to work your way up to higher levels
