  • Involved in an engagement team working on an audit. Day to day work involved carrying out audit testing, speaking to clients and attending team meetings.

  • Yes, I have both learnt new skills and developed existing skills. Both my audit knowledge and technical knowledge have improved throughout this placement.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme to a great extent. The combination of work and study as well as gaining a great understanding of a complex and technical industry is very enjoyable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very organised. It is clear from the previous year the layout and timetable of the following year. The only improvement could be giving the accommodation information earlier for planning.

  • Employer is incredibly supportive both from a career perspective and a wellbeing perspective. It has great initiatives such as summer working hours which are flexible working which are very beneficial.

  • Great support - We receive very engaging and high quality lectures. They also support us whilst we are on are placement and regularly check in.

  • Qualification provides vital knowledge needed for profession so does help me perform better in my role.

  • Yes social activities are organised within my business unit.

  • Yes

  • It is a very inclusive and friendly environment. The office itself and location is great. You also get the opportunity to work with some great people as well as some very interesting clients.

  • Research about the firm and its core values.
