My role involves meeting and greeting customers and working with them to find their perfect holiday! Booking holidays and any holiday extras.
Through my apprenticeship I have learnt all new skills about holiday destinations and have also been able to develop existing skills. I am now confident with all booking systems and giving customer correct and up to date information.
Now towards the end of my apprenticeship I have really enjoyed the programme, learning different things and really being able to think about what I have done that day.
The programme is set out really well where we have a system to view all our completed and upcoming work. It gives time frames on when work should be completed which is really good when sticking to a plan. My coach is also always available when i need her.
My manager is always happy to help answer any questions I need and always happy to give me time off the counter to complete work. Time off the counter is very important when it comes to completing work on deadlines.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] gives me alot of support when wanting to achieve a higher grade. She always points me in the right direction of what information I need to achieve a higher grade and is always happy to answer any questions I have quickly.
The qualification gives you an insight to destinations throughout which you are then able to put into practice in my role.
Outside of work we do not have many extra activities. We do have team/facebook pages where we can share success and achievements.
