On a day to day basis, I make sure I chase any enquires that I have currently opened. I also check the store emails to ensure everything is okay and contact customers where needs be such as programme changes. I'm also ensuring I serve customers with friendly serve and helping them book holidays and answer any questions they may have. Another responsibility of mine is to work in the bureau so ensuring I give people the correct amount of money and currency.
I have learnt so much so far in the role only 6 months in. I've learnt so much about the systems I use so tui experiences, c4c, hybris and atcom. Im always eager to get involved in online training courses to develop my skills (new starter training and tui experiences training).
I absolutely love the programme. The team I work with are so lovely and always happy to help and give me feedback. Both my manager and apprentice coach always give me feedback and want me to succeed. I'm learning so much everyday and love what I do and who I work with.
My programme is very well structured. I have set days in the week to be on the shop floor and work on my apprenticeship. I have regular meetings with my apprenticeship coach so I know where I am with it as well as ongoing support on teams. I'm regularly having updated sessions with my manager as well as working on the apprenticeship at home where needs be.
Since I've started I've had positive and wanting to help me attitude from everyone in the shop and my apprenticeship. My employer supports me by making sure i have set time to complete my apprenticeship and makes sure im on top of it. My mentor is always happy to help and shows continuous support.
Since meeting my mentor she has always been there to help me throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. I know i can always message her on teams when i need help. At the end of my monthly meetings with her she always sets a new meeting and goes through the work with me. Her feedback is always helpful.
100% without a doubt me doing the apprenticeship has expanded my knowledge so much. Everything im learning from it is benefiting me so much on the shop floor and is helping me deal with different queries and questions from customers on a day to day basis. Not only am i learning the customer side of it but im learning the behind the scenes as well such as different types of flights, best destinations for different types of customers and different visas for instance.
We dont have any sports teams that we work with but we do always like to have work night out and meals so we can bond outside of work. I would love some social events we could do. Outside of work, i go to the gym and hang out with my friends and family.

TUI is such an incredible company, everyone is just so lovely and kind and everyone wants you to succeed. There's no jealously what so ever and people are always praising you for things you do well. You are always learning and you get incredible benefits such as the educationals.
Be yourself and don't doubt yourself. Any experience (work experience, college) within the industry can help but not necessarily needed. You need to show you have a passion for travel. Throughout the interview show your excited and eager as well. Make sure you have a glowing cv with strong punctuation and spelling.
