Four Placement based over a two year duration with the ability to do a function swap for one of your placements. A variety of working on site and from home depending on your team and COVID restrictions.
Throughout the duration of apprenticeship, I have learnt many new, vital skills such a clear and effective communication and also professionalism. BAE Systems employees are more than happy to help you strive to achieve your goals. My knowledge in different IT software's and capabilities has significantly improved.
I have found the programme to be thoroughly enjoyable especially with all of the different opportunities that BAES provide. For example, the opportunity to go and do Outward Bound in the Lake District for a week with my cohort.
Throughout the duration of the programme the Early Careers team have been fabulous at providing the correct information when necessary. The structure and organisation of all the training and assignments has been exemplary.
I was fully supported throughout the duration of my apprenticeship by the whole Early Careers Team. I always knew who i could go to if i required assistance or had any questions. No question was ever deemed silly and there wasn't any problems that they couldn't help with.
The college days that were ran by the BAE skills coaches were excellent and provided me with all the information i needed for my assignments and EPA.
The skills and knowledge that i learnt directly related to my day to day roles within my placement. This meant that by spending the time to learn i could improve my placement work.
There is always events going on within BAES whether its charity events, work experience or even networking events.
