  • Various tasks directly related to product manufacturing and quality control, x-ray, inspection, planning, and safety.

  • Learnt a large amount of new skills particularly on using lots of equipment I have never used before.

  • I am enjoying the program so far, at some points it can be slow but the majority of the time I am actively participating in tasks

  • I think it is well organised as each apprentice works between each of the various departments to find out which they enjoy best.

  • I receive a great amount of support and my questions are always answered or redirected to someone that would know.

  • There is reviews moderately often and it helps to understand where I am on the timeline of the course

  • I find it more relevant to everyday life than my employment.

  • There are definitely social activities however I prefer to do things with friends away from work

  • Yes

  • As it gives a more hands on role as opposed to some other apprenticeships I have researched


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Understand which field of work you are going into and what exclusively each plant does
