I was a intern/trainee, working on auditing insurance firms for PwC. Day to day i would complete EGAs (spreadsheets), Contact clients if need be, and work with my team to complete our client file
I have greatly enhanced my Excel skills, slowly improving my accounting knowledge, and my general confidence has improved in most aspects
I have enjoyed it so much. So far my favourite term of uni
I've heard it depends on region but mine has been fairly organised, only being impacted by Covid or other external factors
A lot of support. There is always someone to contact if I need support and we get assigned people directly to help us on an individual basis
Our qualifications are handled by the uni, PwC only focus on giving us the experience for now
The experience gives me confidence in my career choice and helps motivate me more due to this. It also will help me know what to do when i join on fulltime
There are many social activities to get involved in. From my experience non sportsy, but many networking or office events
Yes
Great experience and helps career prospects
If you make it, make the most of it
