Full time studying mostly steel pipe fitting. 2.5 days a week practical, mostly on welding and steel pipe.
I can weld now. I have relearnt maths skills
The program is fine but inappropriate to my career and a waste of my time.
Well organised and structured around the course objectives
When raising issues beyond those that are easily solved, I get no response or the response is extremely slow and requires chasing. The employee assistance programme is also good.
Help is readily provided whenever I ask for it.
I will not weld pipe in my new role and that is a lot of my course. I have a level 2 plumbing qualification so there is little new relevant information.
Yes plenty and I very much enjoy them
Yes
It’s a good job with a lot of support that a large company brings.
I would urge them to get experience of their role before applying for the course.
