I design the structure of a submarine using various software on a day to day basis however one day a week i attend furness college to complete my HNC.
I have learnt to use a variety of software that entail making sure the job is done correctly and accurate. as well as physical skills i have also developed social skills and become more confident in talking to more people
i enjoy this programme because there is always a learning curve and there is always something new to be able to accomplish in the job. i enjoy speaking to a variety of people as no one is the same.
the programme i am currently doing is well structured and i am aware of everything i need to be able to achieve in the time given
you get support when you need support and when you need it you will always get it, if you are struggling no one will hesitate to help and support you to make sure you feel more comfortable with everything

the qualifications do not specifically help in the role i am currently in however they will definitely help when moving around the business and people like to see more qualifications.
there is always extra activities taking place you need to make sure you are volunteering yourself into them.

You get to meet so many different people and be able to make more friends, you learn skills quickly as it is a daily basis job so everyday you are learning.
put yourself forward for everything and do not miss any opportunities, make sure you know what you want to do but if not get as many qualifications given so you can move around.
