  • none (n/a), placement and university are exclusive to one another (essentially).

  • Definitely, having a knowledge of accounting basics and awareness of how this is applied in practice is an everyday fundamental.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, I play 5 aside weekly on a Tuesday and have been to 4 socials organised by the company in only 2.5 months.

  • 9a. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • You can benefit by getting a great qualification from a company with a great reputation whilst the feel inside the company is friendly and inclusive. Only thing is I'd warn them about the hours as this isn't for everyone .


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Work hard, don't be afraid to speak up if you don't understand something, people would much rather explain in more detail at the beginning of coaching and you to fully understand something as opposed to asking questions where you have already been told the answer.
