My role as a painter is to paint various parts of the inside of a submarine to make sure that it doesn’t rust
Since I have started my apprentice in 2020 I have gained and developed aload of new skills and knowledge
I really enjoy my apprenticeship everyone I work with is so supportive and can lighten anyones day
My apprenticeship can be organised but someone communications between Sask (training academy) and the ddh
I receive a lot of help from my tradesman he’s always there when I need a hand
We get limited support when it comes to doin our apprenticeship such as communication down to Sask so that we struggle doin our write ups
It gives me better experience in the job
Yeh at the start of your apprenticeship you get to go to outward bound which is a week away with your trade getting to know them all and doing team building activities with them
Yes
Because it’s a job for life and there’s always someone to help you if your unsure on what to do
