I carry out basic training to help me gain basic skills like hand fitting and assembly’s. This will help me when I go further into the business. I have a balance of workshop time and classroom time both very important and beneficial.
Hand tools like hacksawing, filing and tapping. I have learnt how to methodically de assemble components.
I thoroughly enjoy the course. I like doing assembly’s the most as i think it’s key for my job in the future
Very good to an extent. Every thing we need is there however the communication between the company and apprentices.
We receive a good amount of support
A lot of support from tutors as we don’t see our skills coaches that often
It helps show us all the basics which we can then build upon in the future
We have a good social life between us and have outward bound to build teamwork
Yes
Because it’s a world known company that is a job for life and allows you to become better and better as you go on
Keep your head down and enjoy the experience and make sure to take as much skills and offers as you can
