Learning with theory and practical work, 5 days a week, completing modules to achieve a CAT A license under the CAA .
Yes, I have gained many skills in the workshops, learning how to use different pieces of equipment for jobs. I have also learnt much more knowledge, now knowing different things on aircrafts that I have learnt in modules.
I love the programme I am enrolled on. It was always my aim to work for BAE, knowing how great of a company they are. To have the apprenticeship straight after I finished school, was like a dream come true.
I feel it is well structured, and I always have an understanding of what I will be doing at work, and what my goals and aims are at work.
I receive all the support I need, with help on anything work related or not. If i were to have issues like mental health, I feel BAE Systems would help me.
I am given all the support and more from instructors and colleagues at BAE, in sight of achieving my goals and qualifications.
I feel it helps, as I have a better understanding of the industry and how it relates to my future in aerospace.
I know there has been previously, but I am not aware of any currently running due to COVID restrictions.
Yes
I have friends that have applied for the schemes at BAE, since I know how amazing it is to work for BAE, and the benefits of doing so.
Take time in answering questions in the CV process, and have an interest in the industry, and then you'll love the programme and the future job.
