I work in the disposals team raising notifications to dispose of defected materials.
I have developed my maths, English and IT skills. I have also learnt new skills such as leadership, stakeholder engagement etc.
I really enjoy the opportunities available to me through different placements and activities.
The programme is well structured in terms of the placements, reviews and university days.
I receive lots of support from the business from my manager and early careers.
They are supportive and exercise a more independent way of working, but the support is still there if required.
It gives me a better understanding of the tasks I may be required to carry out as part of my role on placement.
Yes, there is outward bound to develop relationships with other employees and stretch activities help you to meet new people.
