I complete a range of placements around the company in areas such as design, systems integration, support and testing.
I have improved my industry knowledge massively and skills such as: communication, organisation and time keeping are developed a lot. The Outward bound programme takes us to an outdoor environment and shows how out company values and skills are applied outside the business.
I am satisfied with the work I undertake as I have many opportunities to discover new areas and have the freedom to move around the business to find areas that I enjoy.
The programme is clear as we have a plan laid out upon joining the company. We spend 1 year training, and the final 2-3 on placement whilst also completing a level 3 and 4 through our in house college work.
There are many channels for me to receive support whether it be through the early careers team or through my team on placement. Everyone is always more than happy to aid me with any questions or problems I have.
College is done 1 day a week where we are provided a range of resources to aid our learning that are easily accessible. Within my placements, the team are always helping and my skills coach has regular sessions to aid us with our work for out qualification.
The qualification provides good theory behind the work I do and is a way to show my competence in the work I carry out.
We have opportunities such as: STEM Ambassador Programme, Charity Events, Open Days and outside role training.

Put a lot of though into your application and be yourself during interviews.
