  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Monday to Wednesday I have normal working days learning and completing units such as business improvement techniques, fitting, electrical and carbon fibre. On Thursdays i have college and at the moment am learning health and safety and electronics.

  • Leadership, collaboration, adaptability, courage, inspiring other, integrity.

  • I think the program is excellent, very diverse , thorough and broad.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Some specific tutors could do with more time to prepare for the next group as it feels they don't but most resources, templates and applications are readily available.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Masses of support is provided and even more available if needed. It is clear who to go to if you need additional support and what measures will be enforced to help you.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • With the work itself there isn't as much support in place its more research what you don't know but if you need to there is always someone to ask weather it be your skills coach, line manager or colleague.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel my qualification will be great for BAE specific rolls however, if leaving BAE im not sure how they will compare to A levels.

  • There is very little extra-curricular activities and if there is it is not made obvious or made clear.

  • Yes

  • great, reliable and organised company who I would recommend to anyone.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Learn what the company what's from employees, there business plans in the future and be passionate in the field your applying to, which for me in aerospace.
