Checking client documents and investigating differences. Gathering evidence to complete the audit. Chasing up clients, analysing data, working on excel, sending out emails, updating my team
I am know more confident in using excel, as I have learnt many new formulas and shortcuts. I am also more confident and now able to meet and build relationships with new people
I am enjoyed my experience, being on placement has given me a wealth of knowledge about the industry and allowed me to gain many vital skills.
PWC are very well organised and have created a structure and attitude at the company, allowing Flying Starts to fit right in. We also joined during the busiest time in the year for audit, gaining far more experience than any other time in the year.
I was able to access my seniors very easily, and was able to receive the coaching I needed. Allowing me to perform my job better and avoid confusion
The training provider, has many support networks for me to access. As well as a wealth of resources and teachers. Ensuring I feel supported in my studies at all times
The knowledge we learn, while studying for professional level exams in order to qualify as an accountant are vital. This knowledge helps resolve problems quicker and means you a have a greater understanding of your work and role
There are many socials ran throughout the year, from team lunches/dinners to football events. Networking opportunities are always available, due to the PWC network and many office events
