I manage the WMS for Matalan. This involves documentation of the end to end configuration of both distribution centres. Input on design and implementation of any system changes and support of any changes from ELS through to ongoing extended support.
Yes! I've learned far too much to list. The IT world is very broad, and so is logistics. All of the things I'm learning in Uni help me to understand the wider implications of the changes we're making at the very least.
I'm really enjoying it. Meeting new people, working alongside students from different industries, and learning every week. I'm enjoying the whole experience.
This is difficult to answer because I'm still early in the apprenticeship. But so far I can't fault it.
I get full support. Everything I've needed I've been given without any hassle.
Again, they are great. They can't do enough for us. Everything we need we get. Be it through face to face lectures or workshops, or even via the moodle web page.
I've learned quite a lot so far. It has definitely helped me out in my role in terms of understanding the wider picture and finer details.
This has been limited recently; largely due to covid. I'm hoping to see more in the near future.

You get give the chance to prove yourself and grow. If you put in the hard work it will be recognised.
