I am currently in a sales finance role, which is very exiting and enjoyable each day. No two days are the same and there are endless amounts to learn to help you progress your career, On a day to day basis I manage trade spend and pay customers invoices.
Whilst been at Nestle I have both developed existing skills I had and learn a whole new range of skills which will be beneficial for the rest of my career, these range from knowledge skills to behavioural ones.
I could not be enjoying the apprenticeship anymore I get changes to work with such a wide range of people and learn something new every day.
The programme is very well organised and you have coaches/mentors in both your apprenticeship scheme and in your job role. these people are always willing to help with any queries you may have.
The support is endless they pay for your exams allow you to have a great amount of time to study and always ask about your work/life balance as they understand this is important for your mental health and well being.
I have catch ups with my training provider every month to look at my progress and to see what areas I want to develop. They are great in pushing you to archive
Lots of what you learn during the apprenticeship scheme links directly with your role therefore giving you an advantage and allowing you to think of your own examples of times when you have been in that situation.
Within the office they have a gym in which their are regular classes that take place as well as various other clubs and networking events with give you a change to meet people outside your specific job role.
Yes
The company and the qualification is just great, the support is excellent and there would not be another place where I would rather be. If you have the opportunity to apply I definitely would.
The only advise I can give is to just go for it, and to spend some time learning about Nestle's values and a little about the company as it will encourage you to join even more.
