I had an understanding of the work environment and what employers expect of their workers. I also got the opportunity to explore possible career options. As a result, I increased self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence. This increased motivation to continue studying and finish my a level exams in the future.
I thoroughly enjoyed the HSBC work experience program. I Got to know about HSBC values, history and exactly what they do – and gain an insight into actual jobs. Furthermore, this gave me an insight of the business world, and how to make a smooth transition from sixth form to the accounting world.
The event was very organised, even though it was held virtually via zoom. The host was very helpful, and was in the background in case you faced technical difficulties. The certificate was issued the week after the programme finished which was very helpful. Overall, the event was very well organised.
