I am a Network Rail apprentice. This involves daily life of visiting HMS Sultan each day to carry out my training before I move to ym depot for years 2 and 3.
I have learnt many new skills. This includes my abilities in electrical craft. I have also learnt a lot about teamwork, and what it's like to have a full time job.
I enjoy this programme a lot as it has developed my personality and given me an experience away from home.
I feel very valued by the company as great care is taken to ensure our wellbeing.
The programme is very structured as there is a timetable set out so you know what you are learning throughout the year.
There is endless support for ASO's, instructors and office staff.
I feel the support from the employer is good, as any quesries are met.
For this first year there are no real expendatures as everything is paid for, so the salary more than covers this.
The areas has many opportunites for days out, such as the beach or the zoo.
