I'm a funeral arranger working in a small funeral home. My job includes meeting with families and arranging funerals whilst caring for their loved ones.
I have learnt many new skills over the time whilst developing my arranging skills and how to deal with the different stages of grief.
It helps me to gain skills that make my job easier and provides a better outcome for our clients.
The programme is very structured and gives you set deadlines for submitting work so i always know how much i need to submit and when.
I receive a lot of support from my apprenticeship tutor and is only an email or phone call away if i need any help
I don't receive much support from my training provider and still i am unable to access my account saying i no longer exist. I brought this issue up to them 6 weeks ago via email and have continued to chase this. The last email i received from them last week saying they are looking into this but still no further.
My qualification gives me a better understanding of my job role.
