I have experienced different areas, carrying out different maintenance from general servicing to casualty work. I assist in teams and work individually from time to time to demonstrate my skills and knowledge. On a day to to day basis, I arrive to work promptly and assist my team appropriately in the work allocated.
I have continuously developed my skills and knowledge daily. I have improved my hand skills as well as learnt new skills including patch repairs and damage assessment to assist my work in the future. I have developed my existing skills to ensure I develop appropriately for future tasks and ensure I am ready to take on tasks by myself.
I enjoy being hands on in my job and learning and adapting to new scenarios. I have broadened my knowledge and my personality to contribute to tasks at hand. I have enjoyed meeting new people from different backgrounds and contributing my skills to their skill base. I have enjoyed meeting new friends on my apprenticeship cohort.
Organisation of my apprentice lacks structure and stability. I feel that the organisation is messy and unsteady which impacts me as an apprentice and my experience during the apprenticeship. There are room for improvements however overall the apprenticeship allows people like me and others to build skills and to find our future job.
My employer tries to support as much as they can however I feel they can improve on their attitude as well as build more support for the apprentice as they are very busy and the apprentice may need extra support or assistance and feel that they have been left behind.
During training the support received is strong from the training provider, providing resources and study lessons to get our knowledge of the subject strong to pass the exam. The lecturers provide appropriate resources for our study’s and give us allocated study time for the subject. They also provided extra help if you were struggling.
My qualification gives me the necessary means to find my future job role. With my qualification I can have a full understanding of the job role and the understanding and continuous development skills and knowledge to go into the role. The qualification assists me in applying for the role and shows my competency.
I am unaware of any however people have been known to create groups and take part in extra curricular activities not part of work
