So far I have been trying to help others wherever possible and learning from every new experience I have. I have really developed my skills and knowledge by doing this.
I have learnt plenty of excel skills including v lookups and data handling as this is a vital part of my day. I have also improved my writing/ language and picked up many skills when reading others emails and messages.
I enjoy how much support I have received so far and I know if I'm ever unsure on something that someone will give me help. I have also enjoyed the responsibilities I have been given.
My programme is very well organised and structured, giving me time for my studies before exams, receiving training programmes on multiple areas and regular check ups to see how I'm progressing.
I receive a lot of support weather that's from managers my performance manager or even colleagues. I feel no matter what I'm doing or how much I'm struggling I can always turn to someone for help and I wont be judged.
There are always recourses available to self study online as well as physical copies to revise and practice. Also the college experience has been good so far and I have learnt a lot, however sometimes I feel the teaching can go a little slow so we don't finish everything and have to cover it ourselves.
I feel I have learnt fundamental areas of accounting that help me better understand my day to day work in my apprenticeship. It helps understand the reasoning behind the work you're doing.
There are always calls scheduled that are optional to join which can help as a way of networking or gaining knowledge. Also there are many social events that get planned to help meet new people.
Yes
It is an amazing company to work for with all employees willing to help. Also I agree with all their social and ethical values.
First of all to do a bit of research into the company to try and develop your own understanding of what you're applying for. But most of all just be yourself.
