My role is to carry out engineering task for BAE System submarine.
I have developed better presentation skills, I have developed new modelling skills and understand modelling software.
In really do enjoy the programme as I am treated fairly and appropriately not as an apprentice but as an engineer.
Every apprenticeship scheme does come with its fault but it is well balanced. The education side is done well especially accommodating the covid situation.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. To providing expenses and allowing time to carry out my studies.
The training provider provides a lot of support when needed or if needed. For my case, I never required further support.
The qualifications studies more of the technical aspects which I hasn’t been applied to my work as of this moment yet.
There are a lot of events, social activities and trips that are always springing up and can easily be involved in.
Yes
Because they truly value an apprentice and treat them as the same level as engineers. Bae systems is really fair with the work given and provide a good environment, accommodating covid well when the pandemics risen. They also provide equipments and gear and pay for expenses. It is a company’s bag treats you well.
As long as you put in 100% in the work, BAE will value you and treat you with respect.
