I basically produce the meals that go out to customers aswell as speaking to customers making sure their orders are correct and they are happy with the service they are recieveing. I work along side the management team to produce a happy and healthy work environment for all involved their.
I learn quite a lot off skills over my time at lifetime. I learn a lot of people skills and communication skills. I put these into practice on each shift that I took part in. I tried to train others with the skills I had learnt aswell and they put them into practice.
I enjoyed learning new skills and developing the skills I had already used. I also enjoyed learning new things about my company and expressing them to others and showing them what I had learnt each day. I enjoyed working with the management team and helping them make each shift run smoothly.
I found the program was stricter quite well, you started off learning the easy stuff then went onto the harder stuff the further into the program you got which worked well for me. It enabled me to prepare myself for the work load I would recieve towards the end off the program.
I recovered loads off support from my team at work, my managers and employers. They helped me develop my skills and told me some off the answers towards my work which helped me with the ones I was struggling with. If I was ever stuck they would help me show me what I needed
I always had my training provider on hand if I needed her. I would email her if I was stuck and she’s usually got back to me straight away and guided me with what I needed to know. They were lots of information on the training website which helped aswell
Was an overal excellent experience and I felt comfortable with every step I took. My team at work helped me along the way aswell as my mentor! Was always their when I needed them! Felt very comfortable and welcomes onto the program! Excellent service and Time at EPA as well

I would give advice to others to just prepare themselfs for the work load they recieve and only complete the program if they are fully committed to the apprentship and wanting to learn new things aswell as working at the same time. I would advise them to speak to someone if they stuck.
