I am the micro rep in projects for new drugs being designed. I get involved in the micro testing. I receive samples and deliver them to be tested. I work to improve current technologies and methods. Attend lots of meetings with people from all over the world.
I have learned so much since started my apprenticeship. Lots of lab skills, how to test different drugs, how to use different machines. How to sterility test. I have also learned a lot about the company and the many roles. Mt confidence and time management has increased aswell.
I enjoy working, getting to know new people and learning new things constantly. I prefer to learn by getting involved so it helps me learn. I'm enjoying the uni work, its often quite interesting and not too difficult.
Quite well organised. I have monthly meetings with my manager and my mentor. I get one day a week every week to study for my degree. I am currently in training due to joining a new team and it has been very organised.
My manager and team members support me a lot. There is always someone who can help me when i need it. I've had lots of help with training and with my studying.
I have meetings with my mentor every month or so where i update them on how i'm doing. I use Aptem to keep up to date on my progress. The mentors for each subject and quite quick with replying to questions and helping out. I am enjoying my studying.
It has helped me improve my knowledge on microbiology, chemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry. Which all work into my job. Some assignments also allow me to research into my role, helping me learn things i might not have been taught.
Lots of extra curricular activities
