From serving customers to cooking and assembling food, you are either on kitchen, front or lobby, kitchen has it's own parts but you basically make the food and cook beef as well, it also has a separate area for chicken. Front includes serving customers, taking orders and making drinks and fries. Lobby includes cleaning and solving issues regarding customers.
I have learnt to be more confident in what I do and I feel proud in myself that I have come this far in such a fast paced work environment. I feel like I am faster when it comes to timed circumstances and that my short term memory has improved.
I love this program, while their may be less time to complete learning on the floor with such a fast paced and busy environment. The support is amazing and everyone is so friendly and happy to help. Personally these past couple years have been a very enjoyable experience and I can't wait to take these skills with me to where I go next.
I feel like the structure is decent, while the support is great and the learning is straight forward and relevant. It feels like their is a lack of support at times when the restaurant is busy and you want to proceed. I expect this in a environment like this and I am glad that the outside support is great.
I received a fair amount of support from my employer, while they have a lot of staff, they make sure that each member of staff gets the attention they need to improve, develop and grow as not only as a better worker at their job but as a better person as well.
I felt like the training support is great and the fact their is always someone who can help you is perfect for this type of environment. The mass amount of support regarding training with learning platforms like campus and Fred is amazing and their is many more resources available thought the companies support page.
The qualification helps reassure myself and colleagues that I know what I'm doing. I am proud that I can walk into my job which is usually kitchen and straight away know what to do and help anyone else who might be struggling on what to do. I'm happy with this qualification.
Their is a great amount of outside activities to engage in here including company trips (ice skating), Christmas parties with colleagues and award ceremonies. Their is also a great amount of competitions within the work place to allow crew to get competitive and compete for amazing prizes like vouchers and merchandise.
Yes
It's an amazing environment full of happy and productive people who are ready to work. There is mass amounts of support available to each employee and I am so glad to be working in an environment like this. The benefits like free food and support as well as the qualification is the best too.
Try to be different to everyone else, remain professional in your welcome interview but try to be friendly and laid back to the management as they follow the same manner. Nobody here wants a boring unfuelled person and they instead want someone with charisma whose ready to work and can cope under pressure.
