  • Aircraft engineering, Using specific programs used by the military/civil aircraft work

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The friends i made was the driving factor behind enjoying the programme, the course structure seemed rushed and negatively impacted my enjoyment

  • Seemed poorly organised and rushed, could do with a few extra months to the programme

  • Its 50/50, at some time it was amazing the others is was abysmal

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again its 50/50 the tutors are amazing and make the course, unfortunately its the management team that effect this outcome. out of the four training managers theres two that do the most to help while the other two have a negative impact.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Helps a lot and its where the programme shines. It prepared me very well for my second year placement so far.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Due to how rushed it felt there was no time for this and if offered they were never showed to the students

  • 9a. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • With all its faults at the programme provider level the job at the end of the programme is worth the slog through the scheme


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Make sure you can handle high stress environments as theres no time for failing modules and playing catch up.
