  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Supporting the account team with our main clients, primarily the Colgate account. I manage the advertising placements and reporting, as well as supporting on event planning, experience programmes and dental professional ECPD certification.

  • Yes, I have learned much more about the digital environment, including Google Analytics and SEO capabilities.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy having full days at MMU, especially the days we have focused on our assignments. It gives me a chance to start the assignment in an environment where I can ask questions when I need, and get my head around what I need to do

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured. The 4 day block teaching is so helpful & the interactive Q&as every Wednesday are invaluable, as I can see examples of other people's work and ask questions to check I am on the right path.

  • I receive any support that I need, whether this is questions on how to structure my assignment, time set aside for off the job/working on my assignment, or idea generation.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Always there to answer any questions, especially helpful to have a one hour slot on Wednesdays for an IQA.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have already applied many of the skills I have learned at university to my role at work, including skills I did not have at all before i started the apprenticeship. My assignments are always read by my mentor and manager and any suggestions I have made that can be applied to the business are often implemented but always considered.

  • Yes

  • I enjoy my work and I am always supported at work as well as in my apprenticeship studies.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to VSM Healthcare?
  • Come directly to the company in an email/phone call to introduce yourself. There may not always be a job available/advertised but if you are a good fit for the team then a role may be considered for you.
