I help the Technical Team, carrying out surveys and clearence monitoring. I'm also in charge of dealing with our hot weather monitoring.
I vastly improved my presentation skills and my team work. My IT skills were a bit rusty since I'd been unemployed for a while but now I'm brushed up.
I have far better employment opportunities now and have met a lot of people across the company. The work has been varied so there's always something new to experience
I have been given responsibilities and although I have not been offered a good job yet I remain optimistic that something will come along soon
The scheduling of the work load could use some improvement as I've had times where I've been swamped with work
The training provider works closely with us during the first yr but not so much later.
Organising placements or getting a chance to find information for projects has at times been difficult due to people's workload being unpredictable.
Although the salary is better than most apprenticeships, has a mature adult living on his own I have struggled financially during this time.
We don't tend to get any opportunities for employment outside of the company although I know the option of working with contractors or abroad exists
Yes
