An overview of my day is completing my online learning in the morning, helping sort mail and parcels for 2/3 duties and then preparing my own duty for delivery. I then deliver that mail and any parcels.
I’ve learned lots of new digital skills from completing my online learning on a new platform but I have also learned many skills needed for my role with Royal Mail.
I really enjoy my learning because I always find something new. Some of the modules can be really lengthy which can be hard to stay focused on
It’s very organised and broken down so that one months learning all ties together
I receive full support from my employer and I am given any support or time needed to ensure I get my work done to the best standard I can deliver
I have regular calls with my training provider and they are very helpful when I have any questions about some of the learning to help me understand it better
My learning gives me the insight into why policies and procedures are in place for specific activities with Royal Mail, helping me understand the importance of following them.
